The Typofiles #1

I’ve decided to start sharing some of the various typographic inspiration that I’ve collected over the years in a new Tuesday column called The Typofiles. Enjoy!

That’s one nice piece of type… mmmm.. The extension of the T line which forms a square graphical element is perfect. Very inspirational.

Kathryn Proulx: I subscribe to W and save type from almost every issue! You’re so lucky to be interning there.
Trisha: In the last year, it’s gotten really, really good. The best of the mainstream fashion mags out there….
Melanie: Yes! Totally!
Amelia Arsenic: I want to meet whoever their art director is! A lot of the pages have that little graphic element and really pull the entire issue together.
