What I wore:

Marching band jacket, Vintage
Dress, H&M
Scarf and leggings, F21
Boots, Dries Van Noten

I spent the first half of today recovering from a night out with Fountains of Wayne. The band invited me out to their show, shared their champagne and even strummed along to a few Journey songs for me backstage! Pretty amazing.

P.S. Guys, if you’re reading, sorry you got shorted on the live cat and Ken Griffey Jr. poster.

Sounds like so much fun. I hope you post some pics. I like the design work you did for their album. When I lived Chicago I used to walk around playing their music on my ipod, it put me in a good mood which made me feel a little warmer in that VERY cold city!

Oh god, that looks like the jacket we had freshman year of high school. Eeek, memories! The shapes in this outfit are nice and interesting. Especially the last picture.

What an awesome jacket! I feel like there are very few people who could pull that off, but you’re definitely one of them!

And I”m totally loving scarves like that right now…just wide enough to pull up into a baboosha-worthy head-wrap when it gets really bitter out!

Elizabeth: I mostly got videos, but there will be a photo or two in my Friday post.

brI: How funny! I found it at Value Village and there were like 30 of them there!

Alice: Thanks and scarves this time of year are an absolute necessity!

Brie: Totally. Drooling shoe girls unite!

I’m in love with the marching band jacket. It looks great on you!

I’m looking for a matched set of a jacket and a full skirt…or perhaps a majorette uniform with a little skirt!

judy aldridge: You and Jane have quite the collection of Dries yourselves! I’ve never seen these boots available anywhere except for Halo Shoes in Portland…I’m not sure why they’re so hard to find!
