I love discovering smaller shoe designers. Diana Broussard worked for Calvin Klein, Christian Dior and Gucci before starting her own line in 2001.

I’m working on breaking in these heels; it’s hard to tell, but the entire bottom of the shoe is carved out of a dark wood. Since there’s no flexibility, they take awhile to get used to! Luckily, the high back keeps them from slipping around. They’re a deep metallic pewter color but as they scuff, there’s a bright silver underneath!

What I wore:

Bow top, Forever 21
Jeans, Kill City
Watch, Nixon
Heels, Diana Broussard

i love those jeans… i don’t know how well they go with that top though, i think they’d look a lot better with a simple v-neck or something!

Natasha: That bow top was like $20 and I think it’s been featured more times in my outfit photos than any other apparel!

Nelly!: Awww, thank you very much!

Auntie Nubs: You’re the only one that will put up with my rambling and obsessions!

brooke: I’m in Phoenix right now at my mom & stepdad’s place and the grass is really that green! They have to get it taken out and replaced every six months…insanity.
