The Week in Pictures: 12.26.08

The snow kept falling…and falling…and falling! This is the most snow that we’ve had in Portland in more than 40 years! It was still snowing yesterday while I was sitting at the airport.

I am completely dedicated to my trusty white boots! They’ve kept me amazingly dry, especially since I had to trek to the post office and through some tricky side roads to get to work on Tuesday.

Even with all the headaches of icy streets and cancelled buses this week, the snow is so pretty.

Have I mentioned that I am totally infatuated with my Helvetica Moleskine? Have I?!!

I packed super light for my winter vacation since the temperature is 30 degrees warmer right now in the south. Just call me Nubby Snowbird!
How was your week?

Lovely shots Nubbywise! Hooray for good footwear.
My only complaint: the heat keeps going out, here. :/

With all our snow, I just keep thinking “Thank goodness it’s not ice, thank goodness it’s not ice.”

Yay – I’ve taken that bus! I love seeing your gorgeous Portland shots! I’m so sick of this snow where I am because we could hardly leave our apartment, but the flatter parts of town are beautiful.

SO beautiful! I can’t believe how much snow you’re getting there though, it’s madness!

The snow looks amazing!
It’s been hot and sunny here in Australia.
Where are you going for your Winter vacation?

John: No heat in that weather = disaster!!!
J: I know the feeling! I’m lucky to live right in the city…otherwise I would have gone crazy from being housebound days ago!
brooke: Yes, it is!
