5. An excerpt from Karl Lagerfeld’s run-in with pervs:

As of late there have been some pervs writing into the blog. They say things like:
“Oh, Karl, I want to suck on your little leather gloves and lick your tough high starched collar, and unstich your Tom Ford suit thread-by-thread.” So I asked for a picture and it turned out this perv was Marc Jacobs.

There’s some really interesting links here! Thanks so much for the 7 Essential Things… article, although I knew I should be doing most of them, it’s a condensed, handy list that will be really easy to follow.

I thought somehow, that the Helvetica Moleskine would make an appearance this week!

The Helvetica moleskines are available on the Japanese moleskine webshop but with the exchange rate being what it is and having to use a shopping service they end up being close to $40 each. I’m still sorely tempted to order one though.

Gala- Wow! I normally do most of my overseas buying in Japan so every day I see the dollar drop in value. I dream of a day Obama can fix the economy and I can do some proper shopping! I think I will go order that Helvetica moleskine. Thankfully, I’m never on short supply of regular moleskines. I have a quite embarrassing pile of them still in their plastic wrap in case of an emergency!

  4. Nubby says:

Auntie: Of course I was thinking of you with that link!

Lauryn: Do you have any information on how to go about ordering them?

Gala: That’s insanity!!!! I don’t understand how that’s possible. I just ordered my daily planner and with shipping, it was barey over $20!

  5. Lauryn says:

I ordered an extra if you’d like it but if you plan on buying in bulk (or possibly combining orders with friends) I use a service called Celga and I can send you an e-mail with step by step instructions on how to order.

  6. Lauryn says:

Nubby: Sent you an e-mail this evening!

Tracinicole713: Unfortunately a lot Japanese stores (even online) only accept bankwire transfer as payment (which is why they have machines in mini marts that allow you to make bank transfers! so cool) or only ship to locations in Japan :(
