For the postcard idea, try MOO.com. You can customize with your own photos and personalized texts. :)

DOooOoD! That's brilliant, it even worked some other fresh ideas to mind, cause I do make-up as well. Totally takes it beyond word-of-mouth and business cards. THANKS!

I don't know how practical it is for me at this point, but I get an excited feeling when I think about being able to promote myself in screen printed canvas bags!

Vixxie: Balloons are fun, but not a one-size-fits-all sort of extra. But a specialty item tailored to a business, like the cuff links is really cool.

Poochie: Moo.com is a great idea, especially for artists and designers with many images to showcase. Thanks for the idea!

Laurel: A unique idea is always welcomed! Thinking outside of the box, for sure.

MELi: Oooh, I would love a comb gold embossed with an amazing logo! Or, a comb or scissor-shaped sticker!

Hannahbelle: Yay for squishy balls!! Haha. My only concern would be the percentage of people that use them compared to some of the more basic items.

dana: Yep, magnets are another fantastic idea. Almost added them to my list...then thought that stickers or a postcard could be used on more surfaces. But you have a valid point. Most people have a fridge, after all!

I think magnets are a good one, because people could be wary of putting a sticker on a filing cabinet, but a magnet can go there, or on the office kitchenette fridge and it can be removed and move to a new office when that person gets promoted! :)

Veer did a promotion with a magnet set some years ago, but it's been on my company's fridge for about 2 years now. That's staying power in my book.

Since it's traditional and unique to our city I once organised dozens of Blue glass pebbles to be engraved as gifts for a big international conference.
Now I work for 'Big-International-Mobile-Phone-Company-X' I get loads of stuff branded with our products, unfortunately its mostly bland t-shirts, mugs, lanyards etc.
Squishy stress balls are fun though! Especially shaped ones, maybe some squeezy red Nubby lips!?

The sticker link is fantastic! I've been thinking about getting some done. Nobody is ever too old for stickers!
