I’ve had a red nameplate necklace for quite some time, but the white is my new favorite. Get yours here!

Mr. Mozart has been hangin’ out on my bookshelf. He’s super old school and made of painted plaster!

I’ve been working on a big, limited edition screen printed poster…and this is the text! Haha! Okay, so it’s going to be my take on a pulp fiction cover for an upcoming show. And you’ll be the first to see it once it’s finished!

I was sooo excited to score these awesome Skullcandy type-covered headphones from a coworker. Coincidentally, they remind me very much of this Nemo shirt.

A few days ago, I noticed fellow Nemo-ite Morgan wearing a blonde wig. I realized that there were also a caveman beard and an 80s rocker hairdo on his desk so Tyler and I joined in for an impromptu photo shoot! My look is little ZZ Top, a little dirty hippie, perhaps?!

Next Week Sneak Peak: Tune in for photographs of my corporate identity, a watch review, press kit advice and much, much more!

How was your week??

Vixel: Yes, you must! But the question is…what color?

Beatrix: Yes, a much better description! Haha!

Poochie: The samples are at the factory as we speak!

Sara: One of the art directors at Nemo made that shirt and customized the type!

I love Skullcandy headphones. I have a turquoise and white pair.

Since you asked, my week was…weird.

I found out I am out of a job at the end of the year. But then I had two awesome experiences at Ad Club events and have managed to score more opportunities for freelance, a job interview, and informational interviews thanks to an awesome network of people around me.

I am really just preparing to work hard and try to make the best of the opportunities I am being given.

dana: The best thing you can do is to get out there and network! Besides that, if you have a little downtime…there’s always the opportunity to rework your portfolio, resumé, etc…though I do hope something comes through in the meantime!

Althea: I should have been more clear- it’s a remake of a classic pulp fiction book cover….The Wayward Wife was a real book title I found! And that is so funny about the three magic kings! I had no idea…

  4. Joanne says:

Oh man, I loved my Skullcandys until the jack came off in my ipod!! Luckily I’m pretty handy with a soldering iron. The sound is awesome though and they’re certainly the best looking headphones around (I have purple Lowriders).

  5. Leanne says:

    oooo really liking those necklaces.

ahhhh composer busts love love love them!!!

thanks for writing an entry on typography.. i’ve been browsing the font sites all morning!

  6. Nubby says:

Joanne: I got a pair of the Lowriders too, but couldn’t get them to fit over my ears right. I think I prefer the bigger ones the best for long wearings…

    Leanne: You’re welcome!
