What I Wore: 10.12.08

A favorite cool weather wardrobe staple of mine is this super chunky green scarf. My aunt hand-knit it for my birthday two years ago and I still can’t get enough of it!

Another favorite piece is this zippered Halogen coat that was a gift from my mom back in the fall of 2000 (during my first semester of college)! The best part about this jacket are the zippered pieces; the sleeves zip off, along with the bottom half (as worn here).

Here’s what I wore:
Scarf, handmade by my aunt
Zipper jacket, Halogen
Striped tunic, Forever21
Cardigan (underneath), Isaac for Target
Leggings, American Apparel
Headband, Forever 21
Wedges, Dries Van Noten
Purse, Miu Miu

And, just because I wanted to be ridiculous. Haha!
P.S. Because a reader asked, this is the makeup I’m wearing:
MAC Sheertone blush in Sincere (brand new!)
MAC eye shadows in White Frost and Black Tied
MAC Pearlglide eyeliner in Black Russian (super shimmery!)
MAC Zoom Lash mascara in Zoom Black (amazing! thanks, Gala!)
MAC Lipglass in Entice (super neutral, perfect for day)

People come to Hawaii to get away from the cold winters at home… I might just have to run off to somewhere with snow just so I can dress up too! I love scarves and I wish I could use them more often!

I LOVE the scarf! I’m currently working on knitting one in the same stitch, but only in a deep eggplant purple-y color as opposed to that kelly/forest green (which is beautiful btw).
Awesome jacket, too!

What nationality are you if you don’t mind me asking? You have such lovely features!
I love your site, btw. I stumbled upon it recently & developed a quick addiction! <3

robin: I’m of european decent (Austrian / Hungarian and German) but the black hair and lack of a tan make me look more exotic.
