The Week in Pictures: 10.3.08

Yep, you guessed it…I’ve been getting ready for my art show at Nemo all week! Lee came by and we hung all 30 pieces last night and it looks awesome! It’s been almost three years since my first show and I’ll be showing pieces from all three of my series.
If there’s a piece you’re interested in, please email me at nubby @ nubbytwiglet.com for pricing and availability!

Besides prepping for the show, I’ve been working on super cool headphone designs. Developing patterns is way fun. Also, I’m majorly digging this image on my left monitor!

Lee just surprised me with a super limited run of these red lipstick prints and they’ll be available at my show and on my site along with shirts next week.

OK, I’m off to take care of a few last minute details and then it’s show time! I’m looking forward to meeting some of you tonight! Don’t be shy, please introduce yourself!
Do you have any big plans for your weekend?

OOOOH!!!! I am SERIOUSLY digging the piece at the top in the middle with the blue, fantastic, sadly
I do not have expendable income at the given moment. So I will have to do with printing it out and putting it up in cubicle like a little picture

I DEFINITELY need one of those prints, especially after missing out on the pink on white ones!

exciting! one day i will see a nubby show. i must! i hope everyone takes lots and lots of pictures of this one for all of us who cannot be there. i know it will be wonderful! i’ve been meaning to comment on so much, but i’ve been a scatter brain, first preparing to move and then finally moving to montreal! it’s been crazy, but i have been following the blog religiously, every single day without fail. all your gala/nyc adventures have been making my smile from ear to ear. so much cuteness! heartshearts to you, nubs. xo

Gala: ah, but instead you’re living the life in Paris! WAH!
Heather: Thanks…and amazingly enough, that blue piece sold yesterday as I was hanging my show before I even got price tags up!
Ashe Mischief: There’s exactly 20 and I prefer these new ones because there is no branding (the pink ones were for a friend’s club night) and they’re a bit smaller and printed on heavier paper!
Loulou: Thanks, gorgeous! I still need to respond to your last email! BTW, your letter tote bag is the greatest thing ever.

Hey honey, hope the show was terrific and you made some good sales. I love the piece with the blue accents (too bad it’s sold!) and the one with the yellow accents and your signature stripey wedges. Any chance that’s still available? Email me what’s available and pricing.
Also, looking at the lipstick print I had an idea – have you thought about scanning some of your final pieces and producing limited run posters or postcards with the images? That could help get your art out there and provide an affordable entry point for fans of your work who aren’t necessarily cashed up enough to buy an original piece. Just a thought…

Eliza: I’m not sure if it’s still available but I can check on Monday! And I’ve been thinking about doing more prints…just need to focus and to find some time! It was so nice to see you last month (and check out the eye candy at Sway! Haha!)
