What I Wore: 9.17.08

I’ve been hanging out in the picture-perfect storybook version of America all week with Gala Darling. It’s quite surreal; when not wandering the streets of Manhattan, we split our days between lounging on a massive red velvet couch and a porch swing, blogging until our eyes bleed.

I wore:
Dress, H&M
Tunic, Urban Outfitters
Leggings, Forever 21
Boots, Dries Van Noten
Purse, Miu Miu
Watch, Target
Gala wore:
Sunglasses, Betsey Johnson
Black merino wool top
Skirt, H&M
Pyramid stud belt
Black stockings
Heels, Manolo Blahnik
Ring, Tarina Tarantino
Honorable Mention rosette, Femme Sud

I tried to show Gala some love, but she was totally ignoring me. Haha!

This is our usual setup at the Virgo Boarding House. It’s pretty sweet! I’m sad to be leaving tomorrow, but Vegas and a blogging convention are in order!

I LOVE the porch swing. I would be out on it every night playing guitar, my neighbors would hate me. This must be in Brooklyn. My sister just moved there and it is so much more chill.

Loulou: The porch swing is sooo nice. BTW, Gilda met us tonight with your presents- I think we squealed on the subway when we opened the boxes! Thank you SO much.
Elizabeth: Yep, it’s Brooklyn!

That actually looks similar to my neighborhood (Dyker Heights). Where is this, Nubs?

Hey Nubby, great outfit as usual – in fact, I hope you don’t mind, I’ve used some of your outfit pics in a “style inspiration” post I’ve just made on my blog!
