The Week in Pictures: 8/1/08
This week has been less than glamorous. I’ve sat at my desk(s) for more hours than I care to admit and in the meantime, I’ve dined on two cheese pizzas. You feel me?
A few glimmers of creativity did arise. I just finished my second attempt at a screen printed poster! It’s a limited edition print for my friend Seze’s club night in Brooklyn. Here’s a sneak preview of the version that’s in an art exhibition tonight; you’ll see the full thing and be able to purchase one on Monday (I’ve set aside a super limited number for web sales that are on natural colored paper).
Have I mentioned how much I love my custom bowtie that was handmade by Loulou? I’ve been hanging it on my Urban Outfitters antlers so I don’t misplace it!
Also, my poor white red cross-shaped watch from Target has been dying a slow death so I switched back over to my favorite Swatch model. It’s so timeless; I’ve probably had it for 7 years now!
The big news of the week is the screen printed poster show that Nemo is hosting tonight. We spent yesterday afternoon hanging it and it looks amazing! I’ve never seen so much great artwork in one place! The walls are covered. Check back here on Monday for a recap!
