Collage and resin on wood
12 x 18 inches

I wanted the collage to come off as an intense, futuristic body armor. This piece was particularly hard to edit due to the intricate edges and the reflectiveness of the resin; it has a much stronger presence in person. The final few pieces of this collection are coming together rapidly and I can’t wait to share them over the next two weeks.

I think I’ve mentioned this before, but I never sign the front of my work; I always leave the markings to the back. To me, it’s also important to have a card with my contact information affixed as well so that there’s a personal connection between me and the owner if they choose.

Casey-Scott: Thanks so much! I don’t do many pieces in this baroque shape because it’s really hard to get the resin around the edges, but they always end up being some of my favorites.
Vixxie: Aww, how sweet of you! I’m a big fan of Gala, I’m glad you found me through her site!
