Kiss Me Deadly

I was invited to participate in the upcoming SUPERTRASH event, which is film fest that combines fantasy, sci-fi, horror, action, live burlesque and a special art exhibit sponsored by Fantagraphics Books. The exhibition part of the festival revolves around the premise of taking a pre-existing movie and remaking an 11 x 17 inch poster. I chose the 1955 classic Kiss Me Deadly and Lee Z chose Satan’s Cheerleaders! SUPERTRASH is taking place from February 1st through the 3rd at Portland’s Bagdad Theater…

Wow! I’ve just stumbled across your blog, its fantastic, your graphic style is amazing. I have a thing with using ‘lips’ aswell. Here’s one of my designs, I filled it with sequins.. I love sequins.

Dude! This is rad! I wish I had known about it sooner.

I think I’m going to come to portlandia for stumptown comics fest. Maybe we should make a stubby mini as a preview for the big book?
