Life Contents & The Miu Miu
I recently traded in my trusty Luella Baby Gisele for a shiny snowy white super glossy Miu Miu bag. I was ready for a change after carrying the same purse for 2+ years. It took me months of searching to find something I loved– I’m really picky because I think of a purse as an investment. It’s something I have to carry every single day and not tire of and more importantly, it can’t fall apart on me! That’s why I always choose quality over quantity. I’d rather save up for one really nice purse instead of shelling out the same amount on 10 lower priced / less quality models. I’ve always loved the Miu Miu logo (so tiny + cute + rounded!) and remember obsessing over their ads back in the mid-90s when I was new to reading glossy fashion magazines.
What you carry says a lot about you; it’s an extension of your personality. What you carry inside says even more. I love seeing what people are hiding in their bags! Of course there is a community for this kind of voyeurism, What’s In Your Bag??
Over time, I’ve simplified my life contents. Women’s purses keep getting larger and once I throw my camera and other basics in, it gets pretty weighty– I am guilty of suffering from a sore arm / shoulder from hauling around too much junk!

I always hear everyone raving about Russian Red! I have 6 empty MAC containers to recycle, so maybe it’s time to get a free tube of it!
