Stubby Concepts

 

I spent tonight laying out some possible page ideas (photo by Bianca Alexis) for Project Subby, an ongoing book collaboration with Star St. Germain. (Star + Nubby = Stubby). The project is a graphic novel of my life with illustrations by her and words + design by me. We’re aiming for a 2008 release. Here’s my favorite image that she’s illustrated so far.

Star– I’ve been meaning to email you, but I don’t have any days off anymore and things have been moving at warp speed! Hope your new job is swell– must catch up soooooon. Love!!

Annie– Thanks, darling. I’ve always wanted to do a book, but I still don’t feel like I have enough life experience! That’s why I want Star’s amazing drawings to fill up most of the pages…with little tidbits of my writing. ;)
