Here Comes the Rain: Hatley Nature Kid’s Raincoat

As I was visiting the Oregon Coast this Summer, the last thing on my mind was rain…until I discovered a cute boutique at Canon Beach carrying children’s raincoats by Hatley Nature. Once I realized that I could fit into the largest kid’s size they carried (a 6X / 7) this bear-covered raincoat was mine! The size is about the equivalent of a women’s XS with slightly shrunken sleeves. I play them off as being three-quarter length though.

The shell is 100% PVC with a soft terry lining. This coat is practical here in Oregon when it seems to rain three months straight in the Fall and Winter and a super deal at $35.99. Unfortunately, Hatley doesn’t seem to have my white version on their site any longer, but here are some other options.

I usually hate the rain, but with a new coat (and pointy rainboots– these will get their own post soon!) I’m so ready this year….

Auntie Nubs: Yay, search engine optimization is working!
It would be so much easier to hunt the boots down if they had a stinkin’ brand name!

Melisser: Thanks! Why is it that kid’s clothing is always way cuter?!
