Productivity and Mail Art: A Winning Combination!

Today was super productive:

♥ I went to the post office
♥ Made a pilgrimage to Saint Cupcake
♥ Washed and vacuumed my car
♥ Did a load of laundry
♥ Finished up three pieces of new art
♥ Posted a portfolio of work on Behance
♥ Made some mail art for an exhibition in the U.K:

What is mail art and why should you participate?

♥ Mail art uses the postal system as a way to exchange art including postcards, decorated envelopes, zines, etc.
♥ It’s an inexpensive D.I.Y. way to express your creativity; if you decorate an envelope or postcard, it can usually be mailed for less than a dollar to a country on the other side of the world!
♥ You can easily meet new friends as well as contributing to a great sense of community.
♥ It is inclusive of everyone; usually there’s not a hierarchy of juries and galleries deciding who gets to be part of an exhibition.
